According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the widely awaited AirPods Pro 2 will be presented during the Apple event on Wednesday. The first premium true wireless earbuds from Apple were introduced on October 30, 2019. The “Pro” model has Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), a technology that reduces background noise.
Transparency Mode is another feature that allows customers to use their AirPods Pro while listening to surrounding noises. If you routinely listen to loud music while moving about the city, this is helpful. You may hear important sounds like an ambulance or police car siren while the Transparency Mode is on, allowing you to avoid a fast-moving vehicle. The future version should keep ANC and Transparency Mode.
We should observe a considerable improvement in battery life with the new model as the original AirPods Pro provide more than 24 hours of listening time and 18 hours of talk time with multiple charges for the carrying case. The battery of the AirPods 3 can be constantly used for more than 30 hours (with the carrying case). Why pay more for a battery that uses up quicker? This is why Apple will likely let us know on Wednesday about a big upgrade to the AirPods Pro 2’s battery.
