Microsoft brought a few very decent devices at IFA this year. One of them was the Nokia Lumia 830. The smartphone is packed with a 5-inch glass, 720p resolution. It sports a slick body available in different colors of the shells, including orange, white, black and green. The Lumia 830 is called by Microsoft the thinnest smartphone with OIS of the camera. The panel of the handset measures 139.4 x 70.7 x 8.5 mm and 150 grams weight. The new addition to the Lumia line is promising an excellent performance thanks to the quad-core processor ticking at 1.2GHz with Snapdragon 400 chip. It is coupled with 1GB RAM.
The integrated storage in the Lumia 830 is 16GB. You probably wonder whether it can be expanded? The answer is yes, thanks to the support for microSD cards. Lumia 830 is working on Windows Phone 8.1 running on the device ready to be used out-of-the-box. Some of the key features that are pre-installed on the platform with the Denim update include Word Flow, Cortana, Action Center and Microsoft Office. Customers who buy the Lumia 830 will receive 15GB storage on OneDrive cloud. One the back panel of the device is set 10MP PureView camera with LED flash, OIS and the possibilities to record 1080p video. It has Zeiss lenses. The snapper for video calls on the front panel has 0.9MP resolution.
Nokia Lumia 830 is LTE-enabled device and supports also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. The cell equipped in the phone is 2200mAh. The big news for all the fans of the smartphone is that it is coming to international markets at the end of this week. The price for the unlocked handset is €330 (around $400). It will be available for purchase in different countries worldwide. In the States the phone will arrive a little bit later in the year before the winter holidays.
