Oppo has ascended in the Android market by providing affordable and cost-effective phones to customers. However, the company has gradually been changing this image by developing devices with increasingly remarkable specifications and capabilities. With the introduction of the Oppo Find X6 Pro, they have now produced their most potent and striking mobile phone yet.
Beginning with its specifications, as expected for a 2023 flagship device, the phone boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM (based on your chosen configuration) and 256GB or 512GB of storage. Additionally, it features a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and an impressive peak brightness of 2,500 nits, potentially setting a new record for the most luminous display ever seen on a smartphone.
The remarkable features of the Find X6 Pro don’t stop at its specs; the Hasselblad-optimized cameras are another area where Oppo excels and potentially poses a significant threat to Samsung. The Find X6 Pro includes a triple camera configuration, with the primary camera sporting a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. This makes it one of the select few smartphones that utilize such a large sensor.
The Find X6 Pro also features an ultrawide camera and a periscope telephoto camera, both utilizing the 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor found in the OnePlus 11. Although these sensors are not 1-inch, they maintain flagship quality and are expected to produce stunning images. These sensors have approximately 4x more surface area than the ultrawide/zoom sensor in Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra, which should result in superior low-light performance.
Furthermore, the Oppo Find X6 Pro is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that incorporates Oppo’s Battery Health Engine. According to the company, this technology ensures that the battery retains 80% of its original capacity after four years. The device supports Oppo’s 100W SuperVOOC charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging.
Currently, the Oppo Find X6 Pro is available exclusively in China. However, if this device appeals to you, keep an eye out for announcements regarding global availability in the near future.
