Sony shows up a mystery tablet and a smartwatch by mistake

Sony mistakenly presents a tablet and a smartwatch

The tech world would be boring if there weren’t any rumors and leaks that heat up the anticipation about unannounced devices. Recently a new leak from user’s guide for a Bluetooth Speaker of Sony revealed that we can expect a new tablet from the company. It is outfitted with smaller panel than the usual members of the Xperia Z Tablet line. Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact is expected to arrive with a 7-8-inch display, high-end specs and water-resistant capabilities of its body. A new leak coming from Sony itself might be showing exactly the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact posing for the camera along with a mystery smartwatch.

The photo that shows the two unannounced devices by the Japanese manufacturer was poster on the Facebook page of Sony as part of the ad campaign for the Smartband fitness band of the company. On the photo we can see a man holding a small-sized tablet in a white shell that doesn’t seem to look as any of the current slates of Sony. There is a good chance that we are looking at the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. The photo gives the clue for water-resistant capabilities of the tablet as well as of the mystery smartwatch. While the gossips for the tablet are getting more and more intense, the information about the smartwatch is very limited.

There are rumors that it is an upcoming model of Sony that is powered by the Android Wear platform. The new leak builds up the excitement for the scheduled event of Sony for the trade-show IFA. The expectations suggest that the company might take the wraps off from the next flagships Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact and why not, announce the next generation full-sized slate Xperia Z3 Tablet and its rumored smaller sibling Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. Everything shows that a smartwatch might be joining the new devices as well. Few more days and the mystery will be unveiled.
