The arena of high-end large-sized smartphones has just become more competitive with the arrival of the next flagships of the Korean giant – Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the surprise of the day – Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. They both are phablets packed with advanced specs and capabilities and working with modern software and powerful hardware.
The specs of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 confirmed the leaked earlier information for the device. It is endowed with a 5.7-inch screen with 1440 x 2560p resolution, Super AMOLED. The operating system that is pre-installed on the model is Android 4.4 KitKat under the TouchWiz UI. The phablet has metal frame and premium rare panel with faux leather pattern. The configuration of the hardware includes a quad-core CPU 2.7GHz with Snapdragon 805 in one of the versions of Galaxy Note 4. There is a variant of the flagship equipped with octa-core chip Exynos 5433. The RAM in both models is 3GB. The integrated internal memory is 32GB (expandable). Galaxy Note 4 is endowed with a 16MP camera with OIS on the rare side. On the face panel stands a 3.7MP snapper. The model gets juice from a battery with a capacity of 3220mAh. It comes in several color options – Blossom Pink, Frost White, Bronze Gold and Charcoal Black. The phablet supports LTE connectivity. It arrives with S Pen stylus.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is truly fascinating device that grabs attention with its unique design. The screen of the high-end phablet is curved on the sides providing more pixels. The diagonal of the Super AMOLED screen is 5.6-inch while the resolution is 1440 x 2560p plus 160p more. It works with the same processor as Galaxy Note 4 with 3GB RAM. In terms of cameras, platform and connectivity the Galaxy Note Edge borrows the specs of its sibling. It comes in white and black versions.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will land on markets in October. The extraordinary Galaxy Note Edge is scheduled for sells in the end of the year.
