Three new smartphones from Samsung will join the merciless competition between the flagships in the mobile arena real soon. The rumored names of the models are Samsung Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7. The first two upcoming devices (A3 and A5) are objects of numerous leaks that have been surfacing on the web for some time now. The specs and the capabilities of the Galaxy A7 were not revealed until the last leak from GFXBench database.
Thanks to previous rumors from user agent profile we know that Galaxy A7 features a 1080p display. It is expected to work with a 64-bit chip under the hood. In terms of screen size the new device is outfitted with 5.2-inch display instead of the expected 5.5-inch phablet-like size. The new leak reveals that Galaxy A7 is working with an octa-core processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip ticking at 1.5GHz. The configuration consists of Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. The upcoming handset is packed with 16GB internal memory. Users have at their disposal 12GB storage. The phone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. On the back of the Galaxy A7 is provided a camera with 12MP resolution and capabilities to record Full HD video. On the side with the display of the phone lies a 5MP shooter for video calls. In terms of connectivity possibilities the phone is fully equipped with features for support for Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Back in September there were gossips that the Galaxy A7 will be released in selected markets apart from its siblings that will arrive in loads of countries across the globe. The rumored price for the unlocked Galaxy A7 is $450-$500. The appearance of the phones in the new trio is expected to have similar designs to the premium Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Built-in LTE connectivity is also one of the features that will make the models stand-out.
