Huawei has scheduled its press-event for IFA for 4th of September. One of the devices that are expected to make their official debut at the exhibition is Huawei Ascend Mate 7. The phablet was an object of rumors and leaks in the last weeks. If we summarize the revealed specs until now, we have a large handset with a 6-inch display and 1080p resolution. This results in 367ppi.
According to gossips the upcoming Ascend Mate 7 of the Chinese manufacturer is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The chipset is the home-made HiSilicon Kirin 920 courtesy of Huawei. There will be two variants of the phablet. One of them works with 2GB RAM. The other Ascent Mate 7 has more RAM on board – 3GB. The storage in the device is 16GB along with a slot for microSD cards. In terms, of cameras, the upcoming flagship has a 13MP shooter with LED flash on the rare panel and a 5MP snapper on the face side.
The battery of the 6-inched phablet is a large cell with a capacity of 4000mAh. On the back of Ascend Mate 7 is provided a fingerprint sensor similar to what HTC One Max has to offer. The connectivity features of the large-sized smartphone include GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and LTE. The newly leaked photos of the Ascend Mate 7 give us a glimpse on the impressive design of the device with very slim, almost missing side bezels. The newest gladiators on the market of China are large phablets with over 5.5-inch displays.
It is curious to see how the new flagship will win the hearts of users. The price and the availability of the handset are still unknown. The phablet will arrive in the mobile world one day after another impressive large-sized smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
