Now the information is officially confirmed. The US carrier Sprint launched the affordable HTC One (E8) in Misty Gray or Polar White. It costs $99.99 tied with a contract. Customers of the mobile operator can use the Easy Pay installment plan of Sprint that consists of 23 payments each month of $20.84 and one last 24th payment that costs $20.67.
The specs of the affordable version of the flagship include 5-inch screen Super LCD3 display with a resolution of 1080p. It is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The design and the shape of the smartphone remind to HTC One M8. One of the differences between the two devices is the materials used for their producing. One (E8) comes in a plastic body while the One M8 is outfitted with a metal panel. In terms of specs the more affordable smartphone boasts more modest capabilities. In the belly of HTC One (E8) is working a 2.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip. The phone has 16GB native memory. In case you need more storage there is a microSD slot for cards. The phone arrives with Android 4.4 KitKat running on it out-of-the-box. Sense 6 UI brings more customized experience for users.
The camera on the back of the smartphone is with 13MP. It has LED flash, autofocus and plenty of capabilities. On the face panel is set a 5MP sensor.
