The Chinese manufacturer Huawei is participating at the IFA exhibition where it is ready to showcase two new devices – the high-end Ascend Mate 7 and its mid-ranged sibling Ascend G7. The fans of the currently available flagship Ascend P7 will enjoy the news that Huawei is releasing a new edition of the model armored with sapphire display.
The mid-ranger Huawei Ascend G7 boasts a very nice package of specs at very reasonable price of $387/€299. The phablet has a 5.5-inch INCELL screen, 720p. In the gut of the phablet is set a quad-core CPU ticking at 1.2GHz and 2GB RAM. The platform pre-installed on the device is Android 4.4 KitKat. Huawei has customized it with Emotion UI 3.0. The Ascend G7 is provided with 16GB internal memory. Among the impressive features in the device is its rare camera with 13MP and f/2.0 aperture. It is paired with a 5MP front-facing camera. The mid-ranger supports LTE connectivity. It works with 3000mAh battery. The phone will be released internationally later this month.
The start of Huawei’s event is the new advanced phablet named Ascend Mate 7. It is dressed in metal frame and sports a large panel with dimensions 157 x 81 x 7.9 mm. It weighs 185 grams and features appealing design with very narrow bezels. The screen of the flagship is with 6-inch, 1080p and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The silicon provided for the model is octa-core with chip Kirin 925. The configuration boasts Mali-T628 GPU and either 2GB RAM/16GB storage or 3GB RAM/32GB memory. The platform that powers the device is Emotion UI 3.0 running on top of Android 4.4 KitKat. The two cameras of Ascend Mate 7 are a rare snapper with 13MP and a camera on the face panel with 5MP. The new phablet works with a very big battery with 4100mAh.
Probably it is needless to say that the flagship boasts support for Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC and 4G LTE connectivity features. The available colors for the new model are moonlight silver, obsidian black and amber gold. Huawei Ascend Mate 7 is coming soon at price of €499/€599 (16GB/32GB).
