Apple Watch debuts on the arena for wearable tech

Google Glass and the iWatch are among the most long-anticipated devices in the tech world that are promising to bring something new and remarkable. Google and Apple are taking their time to develop products that will outrun the expectations of users with a taste for the innovative tech. While the waiting for the Google Glass will continue a bit longer, we can share the news that Apple finally introduced officially the Apple Watch. The advanced timepiece with square screen is unveiled with two versions – with 38mm and with 42mm case.

For those of you who fancy more luxury devices there is a 18 karat gold version of the Apple Watch. The company offers more options for the material used for the manufacturing of the different versions of the smartwatch. There is a steel variant dubbed Apple Watch Sport and the gold variant named Apple Watch Edition. All versions of the gadget are armored with ceramic rare sides and changeable wristbands. There are 6 bands that can be swapped according to user’s taste. The Apple Watch is outfitted with a sapphire screen. The platform running on the device is especially developed for the smartwatch with unique functionality and features. Users can cycle through menus and use custom gestures.

The smartwatch “wakes up” only when you lift your wrist which is a great feature for saving battery life. There is a Glances feature that makes it easy to swipe through pages. Users who prefer to work with the smartwatch in more fulfilling way can use the digital crown that assures a truly enjoyable interacting with the device. Apple Watch has Siri working on it. It is packed with health-related features, like heart rate monitor etc. When the smartwatch is paired with iOS-based device it is able to display notifications among other capabilities. The charging of the device happens via Magsafe adapter wirelessly. The revealed information about the device suggests that the battery can keep the device running for a day before it required recharging. Apple Watch is coming in Q1 2015 at price of $350.
