The second half of the year is the busy time for Motorola. We recently welcomed 4 new devices by the company, including the new flagship Motorola Moto X (2014) and the mid-ranger Motorola Moto G (2014). The manufacturer is not finished for the year and it is getting ready to present several new models. One of them is the smartphone with a codename Motorola Droid Turbo. The handset was spotted in a leak with photos that give us a glimpse on the rare panel of the device. Motorola has a tradition for the Droid line of smartphones to cover it in Kevlar and the Droid Turbo is not an exception. The backplate reveals the round camera module and the housing for the dual LED flash.
Motorola Droid Turbo is not announced yet, but thanks to the numerous rumors we know that it is equipped with a 5.2-inch screen. The expected resolution is QHD. The silicon equipped in the model is a quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz working with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip. There are 3GB RAM on board. On the back panel of the Droid Turbo is provided a 20MP camera. The snapper for video calls is with 2MP.
Among the extra features are front-facing speakers. The most impressive feature of the unannounced phone is its possibility for very fast charging. The phone will be released by Verizon exclusively. Rumors say that the new high-end smartphone will debut in October. Motorola recently released the Twitter accounts named @DroidLanding where the following tweet was posted “Faster charging is a big deal. That’s why we made it a bigger deal. #waitforit.”
Another leak around the same time surfaced on the web revealing the upcoming smartphone Motorola Moto S. Specs of the device remain a mystery for now. Stay tuned.
