One of the latest rumors about LG revealed that the company is working on a new smartphone with old-fashioned still – the flip-phone LG Wine Smart. The handset is officially announced in South Korea. The flip-phones are still a trend in the mobile world therefore it is not surprising that the Korean manufacturer is joining the arena of the classy handsets. The smartphone is outfitted with a 3.5-inch HVGA screen with a resolution of 480 x 320p. It is packed with mid-ranged capabilities.
For example, the processor that powers the new LG Wine Smart is with four cores. It is clocked at 1.2GHz and works in a configuration with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip. The provided RAM is with 1GB and 4GB internal memory. The main camera armored in the flip-phone is with 8MP resolution. It boasts a snapper for video calls as well with 0.3MP resolution. The platform running on LG Wine Smart out-of-the-box is Android 4.4 KitKat. As expected it is customized by LG with its user interface that reminds a lot to the platform running on the flagship LG G3.
The connectivity possibilities of the LG Wine Smart include a wide choice of features – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE Cat. 4, GPS. Among the extra features of the handset are the T-DMB tech for digital datacasting, TV and radio. It is provided with a 1700mAh battery in its gut. The color options for the flip-phone LG Wine Smart include white and black. It is scheduled for release on 26th of September. LG is introducing the phone in South Korea. It is still unknown whether it will be offered to more markets later on. The price of the model will be revealed at launching.
