New large-sized phablet is coming to the US within days. One of the biggest providers of mobile services in the country AT&T revealed that it is launching the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 on 24th of October. The plus-sized model will be up-for-grabs for $149.99 on a contract. The unlocked phablet can be yours for $474.99. Another payment option for the device that AT&T offers for its clients is with the AT&T Next 18 for $19.80 monthly payments for 24 months or AT&T Next 12 that includes $23.75 monthly payments for 20 months. The mobile operator boasts $100 bill credit for customers that activate the plan until 31st of October.
The new large phablet Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is provided with a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 720 pixels. The handset is the upgrade of the Samsung Galaxy Mega released last year. The new device is packed with more advanced specs but in terms of size, it is more compact than the 6.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Mega. Galaxy Mega 2 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The processor that delivers the excellent performance of the phablet is with four cores ticking at 1.5GHz and working along with 1.5GB RAM. It supports microSD cards that make it easy to expand the 16GB native memory provided in the device out-of-the-box.
The primary rare camera of Galaxy Mega 2 is with 8MP resolution and LED flash. The secondary snapper is disposed on the face panel and has 2.1MP resolution. The new phone is equipped with a wide range of connectivity capabilities, such as Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and LTE. It works with a battery with 2800mAh capacity. The new phablet will land on the shelves of AT&T on 24th of October, Friday. It is coming in white and black shells. Overall the phone offers a decent package of specs and capabilities for its price.
