Gossips and leaks about the unannounced Oppo U3 have been drawing attention of users since November last year. One of the latest rumors we hears about the device revealed that it has passed through TENAA which means that we will not wait long for the debut of the phablet. The anticipated news is announced – Oppo took the wraps off from the large-sized U3. It stands out with sharp design with stylish panel and ultra-thin side bezels.

The back panel of the phablet is adorned with unique pattern. Oppo U3 is armored with a rather large screen with 5.9-inch diagonal and 1080p resolution. On the inside is ticking a powerful octa-core CPU with Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. It works with Mali-T760MP2 GPU and 2GB RAM. The provided amount of internal memory is 16GB. The Oppo U3 supports microSD cards for memory. The most impressive feature equipped in the new phablet is its main rare camera. The 13MP sensor has 4x optical zoom. It can record 4K video. On the front side of Oppo U3 is integrated a 5MP camera. It has LED flash which helps for delivering bettery quality selfies even in low light.

The new phablet is LTE-enabled. It comes with AK4961 audio chip integrated in it. The launch date of Oppo U3 is scheduled for 14th of January. It is expected to go for sells in China. The date for the release of the phablet is certainly not randomly chosen. A day after the launching of Oppo U3, the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi is expected to announce its new flagship. The competition between the high-end smartphones is promising to be merciless. There is no word on possible international shipping for U3. We will wait and see what the company will decide for the model. The price will be revealed at launching.
