The high-end extraordinary LG G Flex was officially announced in the end of 2013. The launching of the smartphone was a big event in the tech world because it was the first device with a curve from top to the bottom packed with OLED display. The anticipation for the second generation of the G Flex is building up amongst users. The newest leak from the company makes the hint that LG G Flex 2 is coming really soon. The promo material for the upcoming flagship gives a glimpse on its appearance.
The message in the ad reads “redefining the curve.” The debut of G Flex 2 is expected to happen at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. The rumors about the model reveal that it will sport a similar design to its predecessor and some improved specs and capabilities. The expectations suggest that the new curved smartphone will be outfitted with a smaller display than the original device packed with a 6-inch screen with 720p resolution. The resolution of the display might be higher though, most probably 1080p but it will not be too surprising if LG has equipped a QHD glass in the phone.
The hardware that is ticking in the G Flex 2 is a processor with 64-bit architecture Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. So far LG is succeeding in keeping most of the specs of the upcoming smartphone in a secret. Hopefully we will not have to wait much longer to see the debut of the new handset with curved and flexible display. The original LG G Flex was one of the priciest smartphones on the market. It was released primarily in its home country South Korea. We will wait and see what LG has planned for the price and the availability of LG G Flex 2. What are your expectations for the device?
